I read an article the other day that was very short and not very detailed however it struck me immediately that it very easily could be true.
The article was a study on fish that showed some species of fish the population is declining and they say say that this is due to some male fish are developing female characteristics to the point they won't breed with females and in some cases the males are producing eggs. I have my doubts on the egg part due to biology.
The part that set off alarms with me is that they are blaming this on birth control pills taken by millions of women all over the world. They said that when women take these pills not all the estrogen is absorbed by their bodies and is passed into the water system via the sewage system. This is not the first article I have read about prescription drugs showing up in microscopic amounts in fish. However what got me thinking was the American water system draws our drinking water from the same sources. They put in a little chlorine and fluoride run it through a filter and pipe it to our homes. Now granted a microscopic amount of estrogen is not going to hurt anyone but then I wonder about the cumulative effect of feeding this to people over the course of generations. Maybe this explains why we are seeing a large shift of people in their sexual orientation. And why you can't find a politician who still has a set lol.
As I stated this is so far unverified and a lot of my own opinion so if anyone has read this far and has any information on this subject I welcome your thoughts and input
