Even though Biden didn't run in 2016, and it was only 2017, they still ran with him being the "presumed frontrunner." Then they were STUCK with him being the guy, I mean Big guy. All through the impeachment it was "Trump held up funds until or unless Ukraine dishes on his political opponent", etc.
But that's when the left first got to see that Trump might not be so predictable. Their 1st defeat. Instead of Bernie using the 2020 unrests to roll out his Justice Party (unafraid to investigate Democrats even.) Look it up. Since Trump fucked things up and looked into Joe, Bernie had to take another path. I mean, look at the gigs Bernie, Kamala and Pete got for dropping out early. They decided they could leverage him into doing things no President could do and hope to ever be reelected. They rode his secrets right into the Oral Office.

Lastly look for Hillary to want the "presumed frontrunner" status quickly as to stay ahead of Durham. She wants that far more than her shot at the Oral Office. Sure she'll take the Presidency, but most crucial she needs that frontrunner status 1st. She's counting on a 2023 Congress being too afraid to investigate a top political opponent. The same scare tactic shit they tried, and failed, on Trump; they'll try on the Republicans in 2023-2024. Mark my words.
