Our Father of Generosity, Abba,
Thank you for being the God of serenity and supply! That You protect and provide! For the Truth that tells me I’m safe! That you've perfectly watched over my yesterdays, are in complete control of today and know exactly what's essential for tomorrow! Oh the amazing Grace that never lets me down! That holds in his hand everything I could ever need! Hallelujah! You're a good, good Father! Thank you for the gospel that feeds and fills my hungry soul! The Word that quenches every thirst! The precepts that clothe me in the righteousness of Christ! Gives me all the tools I need for life and Godliness! Thank you for the Spirit of power that gives me the hope of heaven! The mind to desire Your will--the heart to crave the things above! For the privilege of prayer! That my pleas are answered with perfect precision! Gifts in abundance! Forgive the times I've fretted over the future! Tried to supervise rather than surrender! When I've lost sight of the blessings I already have! Thank you for the peace that's finer than the frills of this world! Gives me the fortitude necessary for the good fight! The selflessness to serve! To give when what's in my grasp seems slim! Let my faith be bigger than the butterflies in my belly! To believe for the impossible because fear is a liar! May I remember that my time here is short! That who I am on the inside, the love I gave is the only thing that will follow me to paradise! Thank you that this isn't my home and my treasures are stored in the secured room that awaits! Whatever my lot thou hast taught me to say. It is well! It is well with my soul! Praise the Lord!
In Jesus name, Amen.
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? For after all these things do the Gentiles seek, for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Matthew 6:31-34
