In March 2016, an email account belonging to John Podesta, who was the chairman of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 U.S. presidential campaign, was breached. FBI agents were stunned to find thousands of Hillary Clinton’s private emails while examining Anthony Weiner’s electronic devices for explicit text messages with a teen girl, a new book alleges. The agents called the discovery an “oh sh-t” moment as they combed through Weiner’s iPhone, iPad and laptop after it was revealed he had been sending inappropriate messages to a minor, journalist James B. Stewart claims in his new book “Deep State: Trump, the FBI, and the Rule of Law,” out Tuesday. Within hours of the Sept. 26, 2016, search warrant, FBI technicians noticed there were 340,000 emails on the laptop between Clinton and her top aide, Weiner’s wife Huma Abedin — many of them from domain addresses such as “hillaryclinton.com” and “state.gov.” At an FBI briefing later that week, one participant said the revelation was like “dropping a bomb in the middle of the meeting.” But the discovery fell through the cracks because top FBI officials were “overwhelmed” by the Russia probe, Stewart wrote. A determined New York FBI agent was “scared” by what he had found and pressed his superiors to finish the job. “I’m telling you that we have potentially ten times the volume that Director Comey said we had on the record,” the agent recounted to Stewart. “Why isn’t anybody here?” The book also revealed how former FBI lawyer Lisa Page lied to bosses at the bureau about her affair with agent Peter Strzok — telling FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe the pair were never romantically involved. Seven months later, approximately 20,000 of those emails were published by WikiLeaks. One email, in particular, raised red flags and prompted conspiracy theorists to claim John Podesta and Hillary Clinton were or are involved in satanic rituals. The email, which was dated June 25, 2015, was reportedly written by Serbian-American performance artist Marina Abramovic and was addressed to John Podesta’s brother Tony — who is an art collector. In the email, Marina told Tony she was “looking forward to the Spirit Cooking dinner,” which she was hosting at her home. She also asked Tony if his brother would be joining them for the event. Three days later, Tony forwarded Marina’s email to John and asked him if he would be in town on the evening of the event. The mention of Spirit Cooking was specifically alarming, as it appeared to refer to Marina Abramovic’s limited-edition book Spirit Cooking with Essential Aphrodisiac Recipes, which was published in 1996 as a companion to her Spirit Cooking performances. During her performances, Abramovic reportedly used pig blood to draw symbols and write her “recipes,” which are admittedly unusual. As reported by TrueFreeThinker.com, the “ingredients” for Marina’s recipes include bodily fluids such as Adrenochrome, breast milk, semen, and urine. They also seem to encourage forms of self-harm and mutilation. Due to the unusual nature of the performances and the recipe book, Abramovic’s work was criticized as being satanic. In a recent interview with ArtNews, Marina Abramovic confirmed Spirit Cooking “is really more about spirituality.” Her 1990s Spirit Cooking performances. As discussed on the artist’s Kickstarter page, the dinner was an incentive for pledging $10,000 to the Marina Abramovic Institute. “A dinner night with Marina during which she will teach you and other backers at this level how to cook a series of traditional soups, which you will all enjoy together.” When asked why she mentioned Spirit Cooking in reference to the dinner, Marina said, “We just call a things funny name, that’s all.” Although Tony Podesta did attend the event, Abramovic confirmed his brother John turned down the invitation. Marina Abramovic’s Spirit Cooking email was not the only one to spark a conspiracy theory. A series of emails between Comet Ping Pong owner James Alefantis and John Podesta also raised red flags. As reported by The New York Times, the Comet Ping Pong pizzeria has been the target of rumors and speculation for some time. “Some posited the restaurant was part of a larger Democratic child trafficking ring, which was a theory long held by some conservative blogs.” The emails between Alefantis and Podesta, only fueled the controversy. In addition to “Pizzagate” discussions on 4Chan and Reddit, the rumors spread to social media outlets. Conspiracy theorists point to photos and “symbols” found on the Comet Ping Pong advertisements, menu, and website. Rumors that the pizzeria is a front for a child sex trafficking ring, which is sanctioned by the Democratic Party, continue to persist. Marina Abramovic’s Spirit Cooking email scandal and the Pizzagate scandal both accuse John and Tony Podesta and Hillary Clinton of knowingly supporting, if not participating in, disturbing rituals, including child sex trafficking. Although there is no available proof that any of the rumors are true yet, some people remain convinced there is a conspiracy.

View MoreI have done my best to respect the diverse opinions regarding COVID-19 over these past few months, however the ER nurse that posted this brilliantly sums up my train of thought : Please just take politics out of it and read this with an open mind using common sense. "Anyone out there who can tell me what our end game is with the covid 19? What is the magic formula that is going to allow us to sound the all clear? Is it zero cases? The only way that will happen is if we just stop testing and stop reporting. Is it a vaccine? It took 25 years for a chicken pox vaccine to be developed. The smallpox inoculation was discovered in 1796 the last known natural case was in 1977. We have a flu vaccine that is only 40 to 60% effective and less than half of the US population choose to get one, and roughly 20,000 Americans will die of the flu or flu complications. Oh, you'll mandate it, like other vaccines are mandated in order to attend school, travel to some foreign countries, etc. We already have a growing number of anti vaxxers refusing proven, tested, well known vaccines that have been administered for decades but aren’t necessarily safe! Do you really think people will flock to get a fast tracked, quickly tested vaccine, whose long term side effects and overall efficacy are anyone's best guess? How long are we going to cancel and postpone and reconsider? You aren't doing in person school until second quarter? What if October's numbers are the same as August's? You moved football to spring? What if next March is worse than this one was? When do we decide quality of life outweighs the risks? I understand Covid can be deadly or very dangerous for SOME people, but so are strawberries and so is shellfish. We take risks multiple times a day without a second thought. We know driving a car can be dangerous, we don't leave it in the garage. Many speed and don't wear seat belts. We know the dangers of smoking, drinking and eating fried foods, we do it anyway. Is hugging Grandma really more dangerous than rush hour on the freeway? Is going out with friends after work more risky than 4 day old gas station sushi? Or operating a chainsaw? When and how did we so quickly lose our free will and give up our liberty? Is there a waiver somewhere I can sign that says, "I understand the risks, but I choose a life with Hugs and Smiles, and the State Fair and go to Church and go hug my Mom in her retirement home? I understand that there is a minuscule possibility I could die, but I will most likely end up feeling like crap for a few days. I understand I could possibly pass it to someone else, if I'm not careful, but I can pass any virus onto someone else. I'm struggling to see where or how this ends. We either get busy living or we get busy dying. When God decides it's your time, you don't get any mulligans, so I guess I would rather spend my time enjoying it and living in the moment and not worrying about what ifs and maybes, and I bet I'm not the only one.
