Y’all are focused on the politics of the situation and not the reality or truth of it.
If he isn’t charged with this and prosecuted, church protections are OVER…
Right now, practicing religion is a protected right. What he did WAS NOT exercising the first amendment.
He conspired to go into a private church (churches are not public institutions contrary to modern thinking) with the intent to interrupt their act of worship which is their protected, right…
So in this case is the freedom of press ABOVE the freedom to practice religion? NO!
He was infringing on another group of people’s rights. He was not invited in. He didn’t sit and observe. He harassed and antagonized a congregation and their pastor.
If this is ok, what’s to stop atheists from coming in and disrupting your service in the name of the first amendment?
This is an EXTREMELY SLIPPERY SLOPE and some church folks are so politically charged they can’t even see straight.
You will end up losing your freedom to worship freely being swayed by these emotional issues.
You cannot use the expression of one right to impede on another’s.
The moment that happens in America you will soon find yourself with NO rights at all.
We must be sober minded and be virtuous during these challenging times or we will lose ourselves in the process of virtue signaling…
