#News Abdul El-Sayed is refusing to back Chuck Schumer for majority leader, even after Schumer endorsed him, and poured tens of millions into his race when El-Sayed showed up and begged him for money while he was campaigning.

“I do believe we need new leadership and I think people are hungry for it.”
“We need action; we need leadership toward that action, and I’m interested to see, working with the rest of our caucus, what options we’ve got.
El-Sayed said he did not yet know who else may be looking to get the leadership job.
This is not new. During the Democratic primary, El-Sayed publicly backed Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen as a potential majority leader and said at a July campaign event that if he had anything to do with it, Van Hollen would be next.
He also said “If you’re Chuck Schumer, I’m dangerous”
The Senate Majority PAC, closely aligned with Schumer, committed about $30 million to the Michigan general election, including an additional $10 million announced in September - which went to El-Sayed.
El Sayed said he wants money out of politics, but he also hosted high-dollar fundraisers, including with donors such as George Soros.
Does this tell you anything about El-Sayed's character and how he operates?
