🚨 35-YEAR SENTENCE. OUT IN 13. SIX MONTHS LATER, A 75-YEAR-OLD WOMAN WAS DEAD.
Jamerus Parkman had been convicted of burglary, robbery, and attempted rape. He was sentenced to 35 years in prison but was released on parole after serving just 13.
6 months after they released him, 75-year-old realtor Susan Haynie was found strangled to death in the basement of her Indiana home.
Parkman pleaded guilty to murder and burglary on Friday.
Her death even helped inspire a new Indiana law requiring advance notification to local authorities when certain violent offenders are released.
Who should be held accountable when someone released early goes on to kill an innocent person?
The parole board? I mean... I think it's worth investigating!
