"Your prostate makes you a man!"
Males and females have prostates. It's referred to as the female prostate or skene's gland. In all sexes the prostate develops from the same embryonic tissue. They also have overlapping functions such as secreting prostate-specific antigen (PSA) and prostatic acid phosphatase (PAP). Both provide lubrication during ejaculation.
The main differences are their size and shape with males typically having one large one and females having two about the size of a pea. The male prostate produces semen whereas the female prostate produces antimicrobial fluids and other lubricants. The female prostate can become cancerous but it is exceedingly rare.
This is why you shouldn't attack a college level biologist with grade school biology.
