The Federalist Papers They lost the children.Not a wallet. Not a file. Children.According to the Department of Homeland Security, 478,886 unaccompanied migrant children went missing under Joe Biden. Kids who crossed our border alone and were handed off to sponsors the government stopped keeping track of.This didn't come out of nowhere. In August 2024, Biden's own DHS Inspector General warned that ICE had never served court notices on more than 291,000 of these kids, and another 32,000 never showed up for court.The Inspector General said these children were at high risk of trafficking, exploitation, and forced labor.It gets worse. Of eight ICE field offices investigators visited, officers at only one said they even tried to find the missing kids.One.Reports of migrant children working overnight shifts in factories and slaughterhouses had been piling up for years. Sponsors were approved with weak vetting. Some of them turned out to be smugglers and traffickers.They knew. They kept the pipeline open anyway.And every step of it was paid for with your tax dollars.Then the administration changed.Under President Trump, federal agents have gone door to door, sponsor by sponsor, to find these kids. As of October 17, DHS reports 163,445 children found. Another 6,151 were located last month alone.That is what it looks like when a government decides children matter more than optics.But all of it can be undone in one election.Democrats spent years telling you the border was secure. If they take back control of Congress, the open border pipeline comes back with them. And so do the lost children.We cannot let that happen again.Stand up for the kids who can't stand up for themselves. Get out and vote red.What should happen to the officials who let this happen on their watch?
