The warrant has her Married name with the same family name, Elmi, as her brother, plus her alias name Omar!A portion of the search warrant that was revealed names “Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, a/k/a Ilhan Abdullahi Omar.” Elmi is the FAMILY name of Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, her brother! Part of the warrant was revealed when press organization requested to unseal the full document. The DOJ is pushing back on the request saying they need it to be secret because they aren't finished gathering evidence on Omar. Omar has been under investigation for immigration fraud as it is alleged she married her brother to help him get legal status in the U.S. An incriminating text message on Omar's sister’s phone is what led to the raid on Omar's home about her allegedly lying about her immigration status. A judge saw the text and immediately issued a warrant. According to the CA Post, "Federal investigators seized the phone of Omar’s sister, Sahra Noor, earlier this year, as they began looking into whether Somalia-born Omar conspired to commit immigration fraud."White House Border Czar Tom Homan said that there's a good case against Omar for immigration fraud and deportation.
