The Federalist Papers
Nobody in their right mind sits in a boat and drills a hole through the hull.
But that's exactly what voting Democrat does to this country.
Think about what that boat is floating on. America has about 4 percent of the world's population and produces roughly a quarter of the world's economic output. No nation has ever been richer or stronger.
That didn't happen by accident. It grew from free markets, limited government, and a Constitution that keeps power in check.
That's the boat we're all sitting in.
And today's Democrat Party seems determined to drill holes in it, one hole at a time.
Look at New York City. Its new mayor, Zohran Mamdani, is a self-described democratic socialist. He's pushing city-owned grocery stores, a rent freeze, free buses, and a new tax on millionaires.
Look at California. This November, voters will decide on a one-time 5 percent tax on billionaires' entire net worth. Not their income. Their net worth.
Even Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom opposes it. Advisers to the ultra-rich say some have already packed up and left.
Keep drilling holes in the boat, and the water starts coming in.
That's what's at stake. The same system that lifted us this high in the first place.
And it doesn't stop at the economy. Plenty on the left openly talk about packing the Supreme Court, killing the filibuster, and scrapping the Electoral College, because the current rules keep getting in their way.
That's not patching a leak. That's taking a drill to the hull.
Drilling holes in the boat you're sitting in might feel productive for a minute. Water spraying. Progress being made.
Then you hear the gurgle.
Socialism works the same way. It feels great right up until the water rises.
We're still floating, America. The boat is still holding.
Don't let anyone hand you the drill.
Vote like the boat depends on it.

The Federalist Papers Let's be honest. Republicans drive us crazy. They campaign on cutting spending, then the national debt blows past $38 trillion on their watch anyway. They hold hearing after hearing that goes nowhere. Half of them couldn't land a punch if you handed them a script.... View More
