Seven-year-old Saylor Graham-Poarch was among the children injured in the devastating shooting at Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, Oregon, on October 15. ❤️
Three students and a teacher were killed when a teenage gunman opened fire at the school, while Saylor survived with critical injuries. Now, the little girl faces a long road to recovery.
Saylor has spent her life overcoming serious physical and developmental challenges. Described as a loving, determined little girl, she now needs support as she recovers from a tragedy no child should ever have to experience.
A GoFundMe was launched to help her family during this difficult time, and the page reads: "Saylor Graham-Poarch is a 7-year-old little girl, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and friend with a fierce determination to thrive!
"On October 15, 2026, Saylor survived a tragedy no child should ever have to endure."
The fundraiser explains that Saylor's parents are both self-employed, but her medical needs have significantly limited their ability to work.
"Every donation, prayer, and act of kindness means so much," the page states.
As Saylor begins the difficult journey ahead, our hearts are with this sweet little girl and her family. We’re sending them all our love, strength and prayers as they face the long road to recovery, hoping that brighter days lie ahead for Saylor. ❤️🙏 See less
