I had a guy come by to replace a garage door in Kansas City. The installer asked if I wanted the 1/3 horsepower or the 1/2 horsepower motor. Before I could say anything, he recommended I go with the 1/3 horsepower because it was stronger than the 1/2 horsepower. I started to argue, but looked at his eyes and saw unlimited stupid. I decided it was pointless to try correcting him. So I just said, "I think the 1/2 horsepower will be strong enough because of how light the door is." He gave me a look like I was gonna see him back to change it for the 1/3 horsepower real soon. 10 years later we sold the house and still hadn't needed to have him replace it with the weaker motor.
