The Federalist Papers
The cartoon is a joke. The trend behind it is not.
Standing up for Israel in America is starting to feel like standing alone in that crowd. And the crowd is no longer just on one side of the aisle.
Fair is fair. You can criticize an Israeli policy or a military decision without hating Jews. Americans argue about their own government every day.
But that is not what this crowd is doing. They call Israel an apartheid state, a genocidal state, a land stealing state. They chant "from the river to the sea."
Look at a map. Between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea sits Israel. That chant is not a call for peace. It is a call for Israel to stop existing.
That has been the goal since 1948. The Arab world rejected the UN partition plan, and five armies invaded the day after Israel declared independence.
The left has largely made its choice. Gallup found Democrats now sympathize with Palestinians over Israelis by nearly three to one. In 2025, a majority of Senate Democrats voted to block weapons sales to our closest ally in the Middle East.
Now the rot is spreading right. Pew found half of Republicans under 50 now hold an unfavorable view of Israel. Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson have built huge audiences pushing young conservatives in that direction, all while presenting themselves as Christians.
A faith that ends up cheering alongside the campus radicals deserves a hard second look at its doctrine.
Ask the obvious question. Would a Palestinian state, funded and armed by Iran, ever be an American ally? Hamas answered that on October 7th.
Israel shares our intelligence, our enemies, and our values. And for believers, Genesis 12:3 still stands: "I will bless those who bless you."
It is time to stand against the lies, out loud.

The Federalist Papers Here is what the "land stealing" crowd never mentions. In 2005, Israel pulled every soldier and every settler out of Gaza. Thousands of Israeli families were removed from their homes by their own government. Gaza got the land.... View More

I find it crazy how many on both political sides are anti Semitic. On one hand, I get why people hate the wealthy Jewish global elitist. But on the other hand, no one should lump all Jews in with the uber wealthy Jews.
