The Federalist Papers Some people go through life building things. Democrats like Gavin Newsom go through life crying about things.Look at this cartoon. Baby, teen, adult. The only thing that changes is the outfit. As a kid, you cry because you didn't get your way. As a college student, you cry about capitalism while wearing a hoodie made by capitalism. As a career politician, you cry about Donald Trump every single day.Newsom has turned it into a full-time job.He spent the past year copying Trump's social media style, all caps posts, memes, even merchandise, trying to go viral by mocking the man he claims is destroying the country. He called the President of the United States an "invasive species."He led a campaign to redraw California's congressional maps to squeeze out five more Democrat seats, all while lecturing everyone else about protecting democracy. That isn't leadership. That's a tantrum with a press office.Trump Derangement Syndrome does strange things to people. It makes grown men say things they'd never say about anyone else. It makes them forget the people they were actually elected to serve.California has real problems that deserve a governor's full attention. But Newsom always seems to find time for one more Trump post. Here's the scary part. He isn't hiding where he wants to go next. Asked whether he'd seriously consider a presidential run after the midterms, he said he'd be lying if he said no.Imagine this man with the entire federal government at his fingertips.Every disagreement turned into a meltdown. Every policy built around spite. Every problem blamed on somebody else.God help the USA if Gavin Newsom ever gets closer to the White House than the public tour. What's the most unhinged thing you've heard Newsom say about Trump?
