Some say I'm a little harsh....but I call things exactly as I see them. I don't sugarcoat facts, and I won't apologize for speaking the truth!
So, I've been reading the comments about Christa Pike's failed execution, and I see some people saying she's suffered enough and has already paid her debt to society.
Let me make one thing clear: The picture I posted is of Colleen Slemmer, the innocent 19-year-old victim, NOT Christa Pike.
With so much attention being given to Christa Pike, I think it's important that we remember the person whose life was brutally taken.
Christa Pike’s victim…Her name was Colleen Slemmer, and she should NEVER be forgotten.
BEFORE MANY OF YOU SAY CHRISTA PIKE HAS SUFFERED ENOUGH, LET'S REMEMBER WHO THE REAL VICTIM WAS.
Before we start talking about how much Christa Pike has suffered, let's remember what 19-year-old Colleen Slemmer endured on January 12, 1995.
These aren't rumors. These facts come from actual court records, witness testimony, forensic evidence, and Pike's own confession.
HERE'S WHAT PIKE DID TO HER VICTIM:
1. Planned the murder in advance and lured Colleen into an isolated area.
2. Repeatedly punched, kicked, and brutally beat her.
3. Slammed her head against her knee and the concrete.
4. Prevented her from escaping despite repeated attempts to run.
5. Forced her to remove her blouse and bra.
6. Gagged her to stop her from speaking.
7. Repeatedly slashed her abdomen, back, and throat with a box cutter.
8. Participated in an attack during which a pentagram was carved into Colleen's chest.
9. Ignored her desperate pleas for mercy, even when Colleen promised to leave and never return.
10. Repeatedly struck her head with rocks and asphalt, causing fatal skull fractures.
11. Continued beating her while she struggled to breathe.
12. Helped drag her body into a secluded area and abandoned her.
13. Took a fragment of Colleen's skull as a souvenir.
14. Showed that skull fragment to other students while bragging about the murder.
15. Smiled, danced, and sang while describing what she had done.
THIS ATTACK LASTED APPROXIMATELY 30 MINUTES TO AN HOUR.
Think about that. Colleen begged for her life. She tried to escape. She promised to disappear if they would just let her live.
SHE WAS GIVEN NO MERCY.
Now we're being asked to focus on Christa Pike's suffering.
I recognize that everyone has constitutional rights, and I certainly don't celebrate anyone's suffering.
But I also believe in accountability and justice for victims.
HERE ARE THE FACTS:
Christa Pike was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to death
On September 30, 2026, Tennessee attempted to carry out that sentence. Why it took that long to get to this point, we may never know. The execution failed, and she survived.
HER SENTENCE WAS DEATH. THAT SENTENCE HAS NOT BEEN COMPLETED.
Whether another execution is legally permissible is for the courts to determine. But spending decades in prison does not mean a death sentence has been fulfilled. And suffering today doesn't erase the suffering she deliberately inflicted on an innocent 19-year-old girl.
THE QUESTION IS SIMPLE:
Where was the compassion for Colleen?
Where was the mercy when she begged to live?
Why does the suffering of the convicted murderer seem to receive more attention than the suffering of her victim?
I believe in due process. I believe in constitutional protections. But I also believe the victim should never become an afterthought.
HER NAME WAS COLLEEN SLEMMER. SHE WAS 19 YEARS OLD. SHE WAS THE VICTIM. SHE DESERVES TO BE REMEMBERED.
Justice must follow the law, but it must never forget the innocent life that was taken.
