#News Anti-ICE agitator carrying a bullhorn stepped too close to moving federal vehicle and ended up getting knocked to the ground after the vehicle smashed her bullhorn into her face. The woman had marched into the middle of the street to block the vehicle and ended up on her back with her legs raised in the air. #cali The driver of the SUV kept driving. The woman is labeled a “Rabid Responder,” which is a term that describes members of local Rapid Response Networks that monitor and confront ICE agents. #Sacramento Federal law makes it a crime to forcibly assault, resist, oppose, impede, intimidate, or interfere with a designated federal officer engaged in official duties. Simple interference can be charged as a misdemeanor; physical contact or the use of a dangerous weapon elevates it to a felony carrying up to eight years, or twenty years if somebody gets injured. ICE has publicly warned that blocking or surrounding its vehicles can trigger charges.
