Some days, faith comes easily. Other days, we believe God is good, yet part of us still wonders if He’ll really answer. Faith pulls one way, and doubt pulls the other.A father once stood before Jesus feeling that same tug. His son had suffered since childhood, and not even Jesus’ disciples had been able to help. So he was completely honest with Him: “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”Jesus didn’t send him away for doubting. He didn’t make him pick a side first. He heard that trembling prayer, and then He took the boy by the hand and lifted him to his feet.Maybe your faith feels a little shaky today. Jesus doesn’t need you to win the tug-of-war before you come to Him. He welcomes the part of you that believes and the part that’s still unsure. Honest faith is still faith, and He knows just what to do with it.
