Space EveOn September 28 2026 SpaceX launched Starship Flight 14 from Starbase and for the first time ever the vehicle successfully entered low Earth orbit. The flight was not completely smooth. One of Ships six engines shut down during ascent and for a short time SpaceX even questioned whether the orbital attempt would continue. Flight controllers eventually pressed ahead and about 25 minutes after launch Starship performed the burn that officially placed it in orbit.Starship also deployed 26 Starlink V3 satellites marking its first operational payload deployment before returning toward Earth for a controlled splashdown in the Pacific.After 13 previous test flights Starship has finally crossed one of the biggest milestones in its development.#SpaceX #Starship #Spaceflight #Starlink
