The White House History I have seen a lot of posts on Oval Offices but none on the currant. I assume why so administration please monitor and delete any bad comments. Most people don't know is all the gold vermeil items on fireplace and bookcases are from the Biddle collection of over 1500 pieces. This collection is why the Vermeil Room was created but sadly very few pieces are on display so its wonderful to see them in office so people all around the world can see these treasures. I know some peple hate the stacked paintings but if you look at the rooms on the state floor thru out history some times theres 3 paintings on top of each other. The most intresting thing is there's a small verion of Jackie Kennedy's portrait on the left side of fireplace
