Israel just doesn't take any shit. It can't afford to since they are surrounded by Muslim states. Israel has proven over and over again, if a hostile nation attacks, they will retaliate and KICK ASS!

I consider Israel a troublesome ally at best. Dan does make an excellent point however. They are surrounded on all sides by hostile forces. If I personally lead Israel, I might do much the same. Just with more oompf.
