Think of a kindness you’ve never forgotten. Someone made time to listen, brought a meal, or remembered to ask how you were really doing. They may have gone home thinking they’d done very little. But you still remember. Hebrews 6:10 gives us an even deeper reassurance: God will not forget the love shown to Him through care for His people. What we might call “just helping” can be a way of saying, “I love You, Lord.”That gives fresh meaning to the ordinary things you do today. You may never hear how much your encouragement helped. You may not see the difference your patience made. But you don’t have to see every result to trust that your love matters to God. Let the love you’ve received through Jesus become something another person can receive through you. And when the day is done, take heart: God remembers the love you’ve given, including the kindness you’ve forgotten.
