"SINGING THE WAYS OF THE LORD" "All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.YEA, THEY SHALL SING IN THE WAYS OF THE LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD." (Psalm 138:4-5) (caps mine)Are you singing the ways of the Lord? I'm not talking about getting up in front of a group of people at Church on Sunday and singing a familiar old hymn, I'm talking about daily making melody in our hearts to Him. The Bible tells us that such is the music of those who are filled with the Spirit of God. (Ephesians 5:18-20)In verse 4 here it says, " All the kings of the earth shall praise thee." But has not our God made those of us who have been washed from our sins in His own blood kings and priests? Well, the last book in the Bible declares it to be so!! "And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, And hath MADE US KINGS AND PRIESTS unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen." (Revelation 1:5-6) (caps mine again)We sing the ways of the Lord because of that day when we met Jesus Christ at the foot of His Cross, and by trusting in Him, He broke those chains of condemnation that held us and forgave us all our sins and transgressions. For it was that day folks, when those words from His mouth cried out loud and clear into our souls while he hung on Calvary's Tree, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." Having been made a king, all I can say is, Praise God.Do you recall the day when you met Jesus Christ and your fetters fell off? Do you remember when your Saviour erased all the hatred that Hell could hurl with His eternal Guarantee from Glory, "Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee." (Jeremiah 31:3b)Then friends, as kings, you and I have a glad song to sing and a glorious Saviour to serve! May every ear hear us as Music Makers to and for the Master, because the Word of God declares, "Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD.
