That 21-foot steel beam from the Twin Towers arriving outside the White House is a sight that stops you cold. Twenty-five years later it still carries the weight of the morning our nation was attacked and the lives that vanished in an instant. Nearly three thousand people never came home, including first responders who ran toward the fire instead of away from it. These pieces of recovered steel now move across the country as reminders that the cost was real and the sacrifice must not fade. Pray for the families who still live with that empty chair at the table. America was hit hard but it was not broken. We remember the fallen, we honor the heroes, and we will never forget. ~America First
