**WHEN THE WEB BECOMES YOUR LIFE** “In the transgression of an evil man there is a snare: but the righteous doth sing and rejoice.” — Proverbs 29:6 KJV A web begins with one small thread. -- A life of deception often begins the same way—with one lie intended to cover sin, avoid consequences, or protect a reputation. But one lie seldom remains alone. -- It requires excuses, denial, blame, cover-ups, and still more lies. Thread by thread, the web spreads into every corner of your life—your marriage, family, friendships, work, and testimony. Eventually, you are no longer simply telling lies; you are living inside a world built upon them. The web you created to protect yourself becomes the prison that controls you. Sadly, its strands reach others too. -- Spouses, children, friends, and innocent people become trapped in confusion, suspicion, broken trust, and consequences they did not create. They are not guilty of your deception, but they are wounded by it. A lie never remains small, and sin never affects only the sinner. “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.” — Proverbs 28:13 KJV Stop spinning the web. Confess the sin, speak the truth, and seek God’s mercy before deception becomes the life you can no longer escape.
