Christopher Burchfield — A few days ago I made a post about COVID Not to debate it but to observe the reaction. I talked about my own health issues and losing people I loved. I gave the timeline clearly, it happened before the vaccines were available to the public. I also said I’m not vaccinated. That was a personal decision, made for my own reasons and one I have every right to make, agree with it or not don’t care! Then came thousands of comments from people on the political left saying they were glad members of my family died, that I deserved what happened to me and that I should have died too. Why because I didn’t take a vaccine that wasn’t even available when the events I described happened. As the post clearly stated! And that was the experiment. You can disagree with my decision. You can believe everyone should have gotten vaccinated. Fine but when the timeline itself makes your argument impossible and you keep making it anyway, you’re no longer arguing from evidence. You’re reacting from sheeply brainwashed loyalty and emotion. If your compassion for someone’s death depends on whether the surviving family member made the same medical or political choices you did, spare me the lecture about empathy. You weren’t following the science. You weren’t even following the timeline. You were following your ridiculous political beliefs. Got your feelings hurt and lead with emotions like the weak and stupid usually do. Ignoring facts your comprehension of such went right out the window when your emotions got the better of you! And some of you proved that more effectively than I ever could with your comments. Thanks for proving my point about your belief system morons!
