A conservative estimate of the number of undocumented immigrants (illegal aliens) is 14 million of which 10% or 1,468,312 have been arrested for felony crimes. In addition there are approximately 8.4 million illegal aliens on public assistance (welfare) and another 350,000 unemployed. That leaves less than 4 million or about 28% of illegal aliens that are not a direct drain on taxpayers (yet).
