**CENTRALIZED AUTHORITY PREPARES THE FINAL GOVERNMENT** “These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.” — Revelation 17:13 The final government of the Antichrist will not be built upon strong, independent nations guarding their own authority. It will require power to be surrendered, consolidated, and placed under one ruler. Revelation describes kings who - “give their power and strength unto the beast.” The authority they once exercised separately will become centralized.That final ruler will gain power over: Nations. Commerce. Technology. Security. Military strength. Religious worship.**The Bible says: “And power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.” — Revelation 13:7 That level of control requires more than one powerful country. It requires a worldwide system in which national governments, economies, technology, and security structures can be directed from the center. This is why growing dependence upon centralized authority should concern us. Every time people are taught that larger government is the answer to every problem, they become more willing to surrender responsibility and liberty. Every time nations are told that global problems require global control, authority moves farther away from ordinary citizens. Every time commerce, identification, communication, and security are connected under one system, control becomes easier to enforce. Socialism is not itself the final government of the Antichrist. But it teaches people to look upward to centralized power for provision, protection, equality, and security. That prepares the thinking the final system will require: One system. One authority. One ruler with the promised answer. Daniel also saw this coming kingdom: “The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth…” — Daniel 7:23 The world will not knowingly request tyranny. It will ask for peace, safety, economic stability, and solutions to worldwide crises. The final ruler will appear to offer those solutions. But centralized authority that promises to solve everything must also possess the power to control everything. When nations surrender their authority, one ruler can command the system. When government controls the system, submission becomes the price of participation. The final kingdom of man will promise order—but it will produce rebellion against God, persecution, economic bondage, and judgment. Yet it will not last. “And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed…” — Daniel 2:44 The Antichrist’s government will be temporary. -- The kingdom of Jesus Christ will never be destroyed. Do not place your hope in centralized human power. Look for the King whose kingdom shall never end.
