Training or raising children begins at home, but it also comes through the faithful adults God places in their lives. Children learn from what we say, but they learn even more from what they see us do.We teach God’s truth not only through formal lessons, but by living it out in the ordinary moments of each day. Our priorities, our choices, the way we treat people, and the way we respond to difficulty all help shape our children’s understanding of faith.God calls us to make our children and their spiritual growth a priority. Many of the things that compete for our time will pass away, but the influence we have on our children can shape them for a lifetime and beyond.So let’s commit ourselves again to teaching our children, living faithfully before them, and pointing them toward God’s way.
