David KravitzShortly after sunrise this morning, while the sun was still low in the sky, I was looking up at the clouds and caught a glimpse of a jet flying across the sky all lit up by the reflection of the rising sun. But I also saw something else. I pointed the 600mm lens at it and I got what I believe is a very rare phenomenon as the plane’s contrails were at the perfect angle to catch the light in a unique way.
