It is more than knowing about the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is more than knowing Bible stories, attending church, or agreeing with Christian doctrine. The devils know there is one God. They know who Jesus Christ is. They even tremble before Him—but they are not saved. Saving faith is not merely knowing facts **about** Jesus. It is personally trusting Jesus Christ as your Saviour. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.” — Acts 16:31Never mistake knowledge about God for a personal relationship with God through His Son. If your belief goes no further than acknowledging that God exists, then your belief has risen no higher than that of the devils. Do you merely believe there is a God—or have you trusted Jesus Christ as your Saviour?
