🚨BEAUTIFUL: In 2006, Danish aid worker Anja found a tiny, severely malnourished 2-year-old boy lying on a dirt road in Nigeria. He had been abandoned by his family after being accused of witchcraft — a tragic reality still faced by some children in parts of the country. She stopped, gave him water, and refused to leave him behind. She got him urgent medical care. He survived and recovered. Anja went on to found the African Children’s Aid Education and Development Foundation (ACAEDF) and built a children’s center. Hope was brought into her care and grew up healthy, smiling, and full of life. In 2025, Hope graduated. The once-abandoned toddler is now a young man in cap and gown, standing proudly beside the woman who saved him. Anja’s organization has since rescued hundreds of children accused of witchcraft, giving them medical care, education, and a safe home.
