When the Harry Potter movies/books were released, the first volume was named The Sorcerer's Stone. It is now called The Philosopher's Stone. In the movie dialogue it is still referenced as The Sorcerer's Stone, I wonder if it was rebranded in the books? Ask yourself, why? Is sorcery now realized to be unacceptable?
