6 sailors on the USS Abraham Lincoln have tried to jump off the ship due to horrific conditions during their extended deployment in the Middle East.The ship has been at sea for nine months, spending a record consecutive 250 days without making land.As crew members have endured long months without seeing their families or children, they have also faced severe supply shortages, lack of basic hygiene products, and poor-quality rations."Food obviously has been scarce," Nicole Conrad, whose son is a sailor aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln, told NBC. "He’s told me there was a time where he was only eating half a cup of rice and two tortillas."
