JUDGING MOTIVES After reading my comment about some brethren wanting to BE SEEN fighting for truth more than they actually know and love truth, someone asked a question about judging who is sincere and who isn't. That's between you and God. I have my own ways of deciding for myself, but I'm careful not to publicize them because I can't know anyone's true heart motivation. Jesus did warn about this (Mat.6:1; 23:5; John 5:44), but he didn't tell us to start pointing fingers and causing division. I SUSPECT that a great many brethren have carnal motives based on the behavior that I see and hear, but that's only my suspicion, and it isn't worthy of publication with names given.
