**WHEN FOOLISH CHOICES ARE NOT FUNNY**
“The foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against the LORD.” — Proverbs 19:3 KJV
We may laugh at a cowboy sitting in a wagon, aiming a slingshot at the horse he expects to pull him. But honestly, some people live the same way.
They ignore God’s instructions, make foolish choices, create their own trouble—and then blame God because life is not moving in the direction they wanted!
The picture may be humorous, but the consequences of foolishness are not. Broken homes, ruined testimonies, damaged relationships, financial disaster, and years of regret often begin with one stubborn decision to ignore God’s Word.
Before blaming the Lord for where you are, examine the choices that brought you there. God did not fail to lead; perhaps you refused to follow.
Stop shooting at the horse and wondering why the wagon is not moving. Humble yourself, obey God, and change direction.
**Some troubles are trials—but others are simply the harvest of foolish choices.**
