He Is AbleJude 1:24-25“Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.”Jude wrote to us about earnestly contending for the faith. He also reminded us of our eternal security but warned that there would be some who would fall away from the faith. An apostate is not someone who lost their salvation but rather someone who received the truth, maybe brought up in the faith, but rejected the truth. By faith we look unto Him who is Jesus Christ, who is able to keep us from falling. Some might ask, why didn’t He keep others from falling? The answer is simple, they were not looking by faith unto Jesus. Perhaps they were looking unto man. Perhaps they did not daily build themselves up in the faith, and/or failed to keep themselves in the love of God (Jude 20 & 21). Perhaps they never were saved at all. Jesus Christ is able to keep you from falling.Are you looking unto Him?
