Apparently, a presidential pardon only protects someone from federal government/law NOT state law? We shall see what happens, but I don't see a "blue state" going after him. Also, another country could go after him and the pardon won't protect him. At least that's my understanding, but it has to be a country that doesn't have extradition protections with the US, or something like that.
