Life doesn't always throw fastballs. Sometimes it throws curveballs you never saw coming. A sudden illness, a broken relationship, the loss of a loved one, financial hardship, or an unexpected disappointment can change your plans in a moment. But they never change God's purpose. Joseph understood that truth. He was betrayed by his own brothers, sold into slavery, falsely accused, and forgotten in prison. None of those trials were accidents. Looking back, Joseph could say, "But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good..." (Genesis 50:20, KJV)The same God who was directing Joseph's life is directing yours. You may not understand today's curveball, but you can trust the One who never loses control. Catch it by faith, refuse bitterness, and let God accomplish His purpose through it. The unexpected may change your plans, but it will never change God's plan.
