Today, the convicted criminal who stalked and murdered Minnesota House Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, Minnesota State Senator John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, and attempted to shoot their daughter—was sentenced to two consecutive life sentences, plus a consecutive 40-year prison sentence. This murderer will spend the rest of his life behind bars for his heinous acts of violence against public servants and their families.
