Can They Tell?Acts 11:26“And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.”Barnabas set out to find the Apostle Paul. When he was located, he brought Paul to Antioch and together they taught in the church at Antioch for a year. After a year of dedicated devotion to the teaching of God’s Word the outside world started calling these believers Christians. This was the first time the label Christian was used and it has stuck ever since. The difference is today we call ourselves Christians and back then it was those outside the church calling believers Christians.
