**The Wrong Solution to the Right Problem**Most people know they have problems. They know the pain of guilt, loneliness, fear, rejection, anger, or disappointment. The tragedy is not that they recognize the problem—but that they often choose the wrong solution. Alcohol promises escape. Drugs promise relief. Porn promises pleasure. Adultery promises excitement. Anger promises control. Bitterness promises justice. Yet every one of these only deepens the wound they were meant to hide. They are not the problem—they are man's attempt to solve the problem. The Bible points us to a far different answer. Our greatest need is not another escape, but a changed heart. **"And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;"** (Ephesians 4:23, KJV). God's answer is repentance toward Him, faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the power of the Holy Ghost, the truth of His Word, prayer, Christian fellowship, and His amazing grace. These do not merely cover the symptoms—they deal with the cause.Jesus Christ did not come to improve your old life; He came to give you a new one. **"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” ** (2 Corinthians 5:17, KJV). The world's solutions always demand another drink, another pill, another relationship, another excuse. God's solution is found in one Person—Jesus Christ. He alone forgives sin, breaks bondage, restores the broken, and gives hope that lasts for eternity.
