UNFUNDED PENSIONS A message to all you public servants [teachers, police, firefighters, state, county and municipal workers] who think you are going to be able to retire comfortably on your state pension. WAKE UP! You have been led down the primrose path, those wonderful Politician’s you have been so faithfully voting for election after election have returned the favor and lied, duped, scammed, fooled you and promised that they will “respect you in the morning.” They will never be able to fully fund those pensions you have been promised. It is almost dawn and they are still postponing the inevitable and will continue doing so as long as they can get away with it. Too many of us are in denial and refuse to believe the obvious. We choose to keep our heads in the sand because it is too painful to face the truth. Ignorance is bliss but it is about to sneak up on you and bite you in the ass. You will not be able to collect that fat monthly check for the rest of your life. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me! Shame, shame on all of us!
