**Don't Let Your Pain Become Your Identity** Pain is real. The loss is real. The betrayal is real. The hurt is real. But God never intended your pain to become your identity. Many begin to define themselves by what happened to them instead of by Who saved them. They become known more by their wound than by their walk with Christ.Pain often whispers, "Stay angry. Stay bitter. Stay alone." Yet God's Word calls us to something far better. **"The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit."** (Psalm 34:18, KJV). Notice that God draws near to the brokenhearted. He does not ask us to hide from Him or from His people. The devil uses pain to isolate; God uses His truth, His church, and Christian fellowship to strengthen and restore.Healing is not your greatest need—God is. Relief may not come today, but His presence is available today. His grace is sufficient. His Word is truth. His people are there to encourage you. Don't allow your pain to become the story of your life. Let God's faithfulness become your testimony.Your pain may explain where you have been, but it does not have to determine where you are going. Run to Christ, not away from Him. Your deepest need isn't healing first—it is the God who heals broken hearts.
