While the world becomes increasingly united in religious confusion and political power, Heaven calls people everywhere to stand upon the everlasting gospel. "And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven... and the earth was lightened with his glory." — Revelation 18:1 The Loud Cry is the final appeal of God's love. It is not a message of condemnation, but an invitation for all sincere believers to follow Jesus fully. God lovingly pleads: "Come out of her, my people." — Revelation 18:4 Babylon represents confusion in religion and the substitution of human traditions for the Word of God. Christ calls His children from every nation, language, and denomination to worship Him according to the Scriptures. The faithful remnant are described as those who: "Keep the commandments of God, and have the faith of Jesus." — Revelation 14:12 Their obedience does not earn salvation; it is the fruit of a living faith in Jesus Christ. Ellen G. White wrote in The Great Controversy that the message of Revelation 18 will be proclaimed with great power as "the earth is lightened with the glory of the Lord." She also describes God's servants, filled with the Holy Spirit, carrying this final message throughout the world before Christ's return. The latter rain of the Holy Spirit will empower God's people to proclaim the everlasting gospel with humility, courage, and Christlike love. The mission of the church is not political dominance—it is the salvation of souls. Now is the time to: Study God's Word. Pray for the Holy Spirit. Live a Christ-centered life. Share the Three Angels' Messages with love. Prepare ourselves and others for the soon return of Jesus Christ.
