TODAY... BUT THAT DAY IS COMING” "That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow... And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” — Philippians 2:10–11 (KJV) We live in a generation that acts as though "that day" will never come. They mock Christ, deny His deity, blaspheme His holy name, and treat the Bible as though it were nothing more than an old religious book. Because God's judgment has not yet fallen, many assume it never will. They mistake God's longsuffering for God's approval. But the silence of heaven today is not the cancellation of tomorrow's judgment. The Bible declares there is a day coming when every excuse will end. Kings, presidents, celebrities, atheists, false teachers, the religious, and the rebellious will all stand before the same Lord Jesus Christ. Those who refused to bow before Him as Saviour will bow before Him as Judge. The One they rejected will be the One before whom they kneel. The confession that many refuse to make today will be made by every tongue that day. Friend, don't wait for that day. Bow your heart to Christ today while His mercy is still extended and His invitation to salvation is still open. Today is the day of grace; tomorrow is promised to no one. The wisest decision you will ever make is to willingly confess Jesus Christ as Lord now, rather than be compelled to confess Him when it is eternally too late.
