Remembering a true legend 🕊️Remembering Chris Latta, also credited as Christopher Collins, the powerhouse actor and voice performer behind two of the most recognizable villains in 1980s animation: Starscream in The Transformers and Cobra Commander in G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero. This year marks 32 years since we lost him.His sharp, explosive delivery gave both characters personalities fans could recognize instantly. He also voiced Wheeljack and Sparkplug Witwicky in The Transformers, Gung-Ho in G.I. Joe, Darkstorm in Visionaries, and D’Compose in Inhumanoids.Before The Simpsons established its long-running voice cast, Latta was also the original voice of Mr. Burns and performed Moe Szyslak in early first-season episodes.It has now been 32 years since Chris Latta passed away at only 44 years old, but his unforgettable performances continue to live on through the characters and childhood memories he helped create.Thank you for giving Starscream, Cobra Commander, and so many other characters voices that fans will never forget ❤️
