250 Years of God's Grace on America"Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people." — Proverbs 14:34 (KJV) America marks 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. While we celebrate our nation's remarkable history, our greatest reason for gratitude is not our military strength, our economy, or our freedoms. It is the continuing grace of Almighty God. America has endured wars, depressions, division, disasters, and countless trials, yet God has continued to show mercy far beyond what we deserve. The blessings of God are not merely part of our past—they are present realities. Every sunrise, every opportunity to worship freely, every church where the Gospel is preached, every Bible that is opened, every soul that is saved, and every prayer God answers reminds us that God is still blessing America. His grace has not ceased. His mercy is still available to those who seek Him.Yet Proverbs reminds us that God's blessing is never a license to ignore Him. "Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people." Nations are strengthened when they honor God's truth and weakened when they reject it. America's future will not ultimately be determined by elections, wealth, or military power, but by whether we continue to recognize the Lord as our God and uphold His righteousness. As we prepare to celebrate 250 years, let us do more than wave a flag. Let us open our Bibles, gather in our churches, pray for our leaders, proclaim the Gospel, and thank God that His hand of mercy has not been withdrawn. Our greatest hope is not found in Washington, but in Heaven. The same God who has blessed America for generations is still able to bless her today if His people remain faithful to Him.May this anniversary remind us that God not only has blessed America—He is still blessing America today. May we never take His grace for granted.
