Major Jason Watson, an active US Air Force officer, was arrested today in a nonviolent act of civil disobedience by holding a sign calling for Donald Trump’s impeachment, removal, and conviction for high crimes.At a press conference organized by the Removal Coalition, Major Watson was joined by Jessica Denson, Congressman Al Green, About Face Veterans, constitutional scholar Bruce Fein, Defenders of Our Republic, and other advocates calling for constitutional accountability.Before his arrest, Major Watson urged Congress to support Representative Al Green’s impeachment articles against President Trump and urged Americans to protest peacefully until Congress fulfills its constitutional duty.
