The term “minor-attracted persons” (MAPs) is sometimes used in academic or clinical contexts to describe individuals who experience sexual attraction to minors, but it does not legitimize or excuse acting on those impulses. Across legal systems, medical communities, and broader society, protecting children from exploitation and abuse is a clear and non-negotiable priority.
